The Kenko PRO1D smart Variable NDX II Filter is a variable density ND filter that allows you to instantly adjust exposure when the brightness changes significantly during a single shoot or when scene transitions occur during video recording. Since one filter can perform the role of multiple ND filters, it offers excellent cost performance! It is compact, reducing bulk and eliminating the need for filter swaps. Compared to the previous model (PRO1D Smart Variable NDX), the PRO1D smart Variable NDX II has improved glass flatness, resulting in enhanced resolution.

Additionally, when used with a 24mm focal length lens, it can be used up to ND32 without X-pattern unevenness (varies depending on the lens used). The PRO1D smart Variable NDX II features a water-repellent and oil-resistant coating, making outdoor shooting more reliable. Water and dirt can be wiped off quickly.

Prevents overexposure and whiteout In outdoor summer shooting, even with shutter speeds of 1/8000 sec, using large aperture lenses like F1.4 or F1.2 can cause overexposure or whiteout at open aperture. Using the PRO1D smart Variable NDX, you can flexibly adjust the light reduction according to the shooting conditions, ensuring proper exposure.

3. Water-repellent, oil-resistant, and equipped with digital multi-coating to prevent water, dirt, and flare! Reduces water droplets, dirt, and light reflections that are common obstacles in outdoor shooting through coating.
