Product Introduction

The "Kenko PRO1D Smart Variable NDX II Filter" is a variable ND filter that allows you to instantly adjust the light amount when there are significant changes in brightness during a single shot or scene transitions during video recording. Since one filter can perform the role of multiple ND filters, it offers excellent cost performance! It is compact and eliminates the need for multiple filter exchanges.

Compared to the previous model (PRO1D Smart Variable NDX), the "PRO1D Smart Variable NDX II" has improved glass flatness, resulting in enhanced resolution.

Additionally, when used with a 24mm focal length lens, it can be used up to ND32 without X-shaped cloudiness (this varies depending on the lens used).

The "PRO1D Smart Variable NDX II" features a water-repellent and oil-repellent coating, making it reliable for outdoor shooting. Water and dirt can be quickly wiped off.

Prevents overexposure / whiteout In outdoor summer shooting, even with shutter speeds of 1/8000 sec, using large aperture lenses like F1.4 or F1.2 may cause overexposure or whiteout at open aperture. Using the "PRO1D Smart Variable NDX" allows flexible reduction of light according to shooting conditions, enabling proper exposure.

3. Water-repellent, oil-repellent & digital multi-coating to prevent water, dirt, and unwanted reflections! Reduces water droplets, dirt, and light reflections that are common obstacles in outdoor shooting through coating.
