[Model Number: 17903871] [Porter] (PORTER) Yoshida Bag’s [Porter Plume] wallet. This high-class leather goods series uses European raw hide cow kip for the main material, and employs advanced sewing techniques despite its basic design. To create a sharp and clean impression, the corners are made at right angles, and the interior is finished with a bound edge. The distinctive bound edge is created by wrapping the edge of the surface leather three times with leather, and stitching along the folds of the leather. This requires a high level of technique to achieve straight, distortion-free sewing. Furthermore, by changing the tone and material of the leather used for the three-layer wrap from that of the main body, the edge is highlighted and the strength against abrasion of the corners is increased. The cow kip used in this series has been subjected to a traditional method called “yowai momi”※, a rubbing process, to give the leather texture. It is finished with a plump, natural grain unlike embossing, giving it a supple and elegant texture. The zipper uses the high-quality [Excela] zipper, which has a luxurious feel and a smooth touch.
