Creator Katsuhisa Yamaguchi, who has produced over 100 figures in the series and continually innovated with new articulation ideas, has developed a new movable structure for Evangelion, establishing a neo-standard form. In Evangelion Evolution, a newly developed joint structure is incorporated throughout, successfully combining a stylish appearance that surpasses previous Evangelions. It covers unnatural joint exposure and allows stable poses that convey weight and force concentrated at a single point, thanks to Yamaguchi's articulation. This series includes gadgets that recreate battle scenes from the series. The Unit-01 comes with the "Fourth Angel Display" for its first battle. It can be displayed in a diorama style with torn arms and raised knife, depicting a rampaging Unit-01. The Angel's core features an LED lighting gimmick, a first for Revoltech. Paired with glow-in-the-dark paint on the green lines of Unit-01, it creates a nighttime combat atmosphere when the lights are off. The Unit-01 figure can be swapped with an optional head to depict a roaring, rampaging state. It also includes a head with blood effects for damage reenactment. Additionally, it is equipped with basic weapons such as the Palette Gun and P Knife.
