By combining the highest quality optical glass from CORNING with the latest digital vapor deposition coating technology, it achieves optical characteristics that maximize the wavelength range of digital camera image sensors and the highest transmittance.
It uses grade optical glass used in camera lenses to pursue optical performance.
Compared to tempered glass used in common lens guards, it offers significantly superior optical performance.
It achieves nearly 100% transmittance within the digital camera sensor wavelength range of 360-750nm. It also effectively cuts ultraviolet light below 360nm, which can negatively affect image quality.
The latest thin-frame design minimizes vignetting concerns with precision processing. The aluminum frame is hard-anodized for increased durability.
Features knurled processing for easy attachment and removal.
As a characteristic of the multi-coating that thoroughly pursues high transmittance, dirt adhering to the filter may become difficult to remove when dried. In such cases, it is recommended to use a wet cleaning method with a cloth or a product like "Hakuba Lens Cleaner 15ml" without rubbing strongly.
