1. Water-Repellent and Anti-Fouling Coating for Peace of Mind in Bad Weather
Employs a water-repellent and anti-fouling coating that makes water droplets and dirt less likely to adhere and easy to wipe off.
Prevents lenses from getting dirty during outdoor shooting, pet or child photography, and even if dirt does get on, it can be easily wiped off with a soft cloth such as a lens cloth. (When wiping off water droplets or dirt, use a soft material like a lens cloth.)
2. High-Performance Multi-Coating to Suppress Ghosting and Flare
Features a high-performance multi-coating with a reflectance of 0.5% to 1%, minimizing surface reflections and fully bringing out the lens's performance. It also suppresses ghosting and flare (light shadows or reflections that appear in photos).
3. Outer Edge Black Coating
The outer edge of the filter glass is coated with black ink to prevent unnecessary internal reflections within the glass.
