Product Introduction

The Kenko Circular PL(W) Filter uses a polarization film to adjust surface reflections and scattered light, allowing for enhanced contrast of blue skies, leaves, and buildings, as well as removing or emphasizing reflections on glass and water surfaces. It is a standard effect filter item. Especially in landscape photography, it is an essential filter that is active in many scenes. When photographing cherry blossoms in spring, the petals tend to appear whitish, but by using the Circular PL(W) Filter effectively, you can suppress reflections on the petals and capture their natural light pink color. In autumn, it enhances the contrast of the blue sky when photographing autumn leaves, enabling clear and vibrant shots. Traditional Circular PL filters have a standard frame thickness, making them unsuitable for lenses with focal lengths of 35mm or less. However, the Circular PL(W) features a newly adopted thin frame, allowing use with wide-angle lenses.
