The WL-800JP is a set consisting of a wireless transmitter and receiver, equipped with two different types of pickups and a preamp: a magnetic pickup and a condenser microphone. The pickup unit features a lightweight, high-magnetic-force neodymium magnet with a stacked structure magnetic humbucking pickup, along with a condenser microphone. Each has independent volume controls, allowing players to set a balanced sound tailored to their style, enabling detailed sound shaping. Skysonic's accumulated pickup development technology ensures low noise and wide frequency range. Additionally, the system maintains excellent sound quality with minimal wireless degradation and no noticeable latency, providing a stress-free experience for players. The WL-800JP features two different pickups that deliver a natural attack and a thick sound. It supports a wide range of playing styles, from chord strumming and singing to fingerstyle solo guitar and percussion-heavy playing. A phase switch is also included to invert the phase according to the situation. The soundhole pickup is designed to match the size of standard round soundholes on acoustic guitars. Installation is simple: clamp it onto the soundhole with two screws, with no need for internal wiring or drilling holes for output jacks, making it easy to use on guitars that you do not want to modify. It can be easily transferred between multiple guitars with a simple mounting process. The receiver features a 1/4-inch standard mono plug, which is inserted into the input of an acoustic amplifier. It uses UHF band (800MHz/B band) wireless technology compliant with Japanese radio law, ensuring clear sound quality. To avoid interference with other devices, it offers 11 channels. The effective wireless range is approximately 10 meters in a line of sight, allowing free movement on medium-sized stages. Both the transmitter and receiver are rechargeable via Micro USB (Type B) ports, with built-in lithium rechargeable batteries that are energy-efficient.
