At first glance, it appears to be a digital equalizer effect pedal, but the PA-1Q series is an 'analog equalizer.' The equalizer circuit (including input and output sections) that the guitar and bass signals pass through is entirely composed of analog circuitry, processing the rich tones of guitars and basses in their original analog signals. It uses the same signal processing method as traditional graphic equalizers with slide volume controls. While it appears to be a standard analog effect pedal, the parameter control section of the PA-1Q series is digital, accurately storing and processing various parameter states digitally. This allows the product to be an analog effect pedal with the capability of preset and MIDI real-time control, making it a revolutionary product.
