2. Adoption of SP (Super Protect) Coating for Dirt Resistance The front element features a water and oil-repellent SP (Super Protect) coating that makes dirt easier to wipe off, allowing safe outdoor use.

3. Modern Design Matching Latest Models The size remains similar to the original "smc PENTAX-FA 35mm F2 AL," but the design has been completely refreshed. It matches the latest DA and D FA lenses, offering a compact, standard prime lens that pairs well with digital K-series cameras. The aperture ring remains, enabling use with older K-mount digital and film SLR cameras, providing versatile shooting options.

It offers a natural perspective close to human vision, making it ideal for snapshots, landscapes, and portraits. The minimum focusing distance is 0.3 meters.
