The "PORTER FRAME" series features a lightweight, military-inspired design, utilizing two types of nylon materials with different textures and pleasant feel.
The series emphasizes not only the design aesthetics inherent in military items but also universal details, incorporating these elements throughout to enhance the series' concept. The eyelets, seen in key locations, are another design point derived from military aesthetics.
The main materials used are two types of nylon: a high-density woven nylon twill fabric with a glossy semi-dull nylon yarn, and a ripstop fabric woven with matte, full-dull Cordura nylon yarn that is highly resistant to friction and tearing. While both are nylon materials, the contrast in luster and texture between the two fabrics gives this series its unique character. The main material uses a firm, rigid Cordura nylon ripstop, while the more flexible nylon twill is used in areas where movement is desired. The seams, usually hidden from view, are exposed and secured with thick nylon tape to prevent deformation. Furthermore, nylon tape is used to reinforce areas subject to stress, such as the bottom gusset and the base of the backpack straps, and reinforcing stitching is applied to areas requiring strength, such as the handles.
In addition, the product is garment-washed after sewing to create a soft texture, making it easy to carry and giving it a worn-in look. One of its characteristics is that there will be differences in shrinkage (size) and wrinkles, resulting in a unique appearance for each item.
