This product is intentionally produced domestically despite the decreasing number of skilled craftsmen in Japan. Compared to overseas products, it features a shape closer to a square and has fewer sewing errors.
In addition to its original purpose as a large handkerchief for wiping sweat, bandanas are increasingly used as fashion accessories. They can be tied around the neck or wrist, attached to bags, used as a headband, or even as a simple pouch, making them a highly convenient accessory.
Please note that the dyeing of the bandanas varies due to factors such as temperature, humidity, weather, and stirring techniques, resulting in different colors each time. The finished color may differ from the photos and from repeat purchases.
While spinning the original cotton yarn, dust and fibers from the factory may mix in, causing small holes or different colored threads to appear. This is unavoidable and is part of the specifications.
Due to differences in the fabrics handled by various manufacturers, there may be variations in texture, with some being thinner and others thicker. The traditional thin fabric has high absorbency and softness, while the thicker fabric commonly seen in recent years has good print adherence and clear colors, making it easy to fold. Both types of bandanas serve the purpose of "absorbing sweat" equally well, and we do not distinguish between them.
The manufacturing process of the bandanas involves cutting, dyeing, and sewing, which are primarily done by hand, resulting in mass-produced items. Although skilled Japanese craftsmen perform this work, the accuracy is not to the millimeter due to cost control in mass production. The products may not be perfectly square, and there may be slight fraying of the threads. Please understand this before purchasing.
