It ensures sufficient peripheral brightness and minimizes various aberrations to achieve high MTF, enabling detailed rendering with high contrast and resolution from center to edges. When mounted on current Pentax K-series digital SLR cameras, only the central part of the image circle is used, providing more uniform and high-resolution images across the entire frame.

2. Large Aperture Standard Zoom Lens: When attached to a 35mm full-frame digital SLR camera, it covers a focal length range of 24-70mm, approximately 2.9x zoom from ultra-wide-angle to standard. The constant aperture of F2.8 throughout the zoom range allows for bright shooting in typical scenarios, enabling expressive effects such as perspective exaggeration and deep depth of field, suitable for capturing vast landscapes, indoor scenes with limited space, portraits with beautiful background blur, and handheld shooting in low light conditions like dusk or indoors.
