This is a hardness tester for measuring the hardness of fruit. It has a wide measuring surface and comes with two types of tips, allowing you to measure the hardness of hard and soft fruits separately.
Measurement range: 0.5-12 kg/cm² (×10⁵ Pa), 1-24 kg/cm² (×10⁵ Pa)
Tip diameter: φ11mm, φ8mm
Head stroke: 10mm
This device measures the hardness of grapes, oranges, strawberries, bananas, and other fruits to determine their ripeness. It features a wide measuring surface and comes with two different tip attachments, allowing you to switch between different hardness ranges.
This can be used to develop improvement plans for fruit harvesting, storage, and transportation.
The hardness test is typically performed by inserting the hardness tester head into the peeled fruit. Once the test head penetrates the fruit's surface, the black pointer automatically returns to its starting position, and the silver pointer stops at that position. This measurement is repeated multiple times, and the average value is used as the fruit's hardness.
We sell three types of fruit hardness testers. For hard fruits with a small measurement surface, the "Analog Fruit Hardness Tester TR-FHT01" is suitable, while for soft fruits with a small measurement surface, the "Analog Fruit Hardness Tester TR-FHT02" is suitable.
