It was widely known that listening to binaurally produced sound sources such as games and VR with conventional earphones or headphones resulted in a unique sense of discomfort in the high-frequency range. While researchers involved in acoustics understood the cause, there had been no sufficiently successful solutions. This time, by taking a new approach to address this problem, we have created earphones that allow you to experience the timbre, spatial image, and sense of direction as intended by the creator of binaurally produced sound sources such as games and VR. [Equipped with the completely redesigned "f-Core DU" driver unit, with redesigned components and production technology] To achieve exceptionally high sound quality for this price range, we established a new base overseas and redesigned all driver components, including the diaphragm, voice coil, magnet, magnetic circuit, and adhesives, as well as production equipment, to develop the completely redesigned 6mmφ dynamic driver unit "f-Core DU". The driver front housing is made of brass, which is less susceptible to magnetic influence and has a higher specific gravity than typical aluminum. To improve the diaphragm's time response performance, the voice coil uses ultra-fine 30μ CCAW, and the moving parts are thoroughly lightweighted by assembling them with minimal adhesive. Furthermore, the diaphragm is carefully pressed in small batches, about one-third the usual size, minimizing pressure unevenness and achieving a uniform, distortion-free diaphragm.
[Ear Hooks to Eliminate Cable Touch Noise (with Locking Mechanism)] Ear hooks are useful for reducing touch noise. When worn, they dramatically reduce the unpleasant rustling sound (cable touch noise) caused by the cable touching the body while walking. Our ear hooks are slimmer than typical ear hooks, and unlike cables containing wires or resin, they feel less like a foreign object, offering a level of comfort that makes you forget you're wearing them. This is a locking mechanism type (Type B) that securely fastens to the cable.
[Ear Tips with Different Shaft Colors for Easy Left/Right Identification] Two types of silicone materials with different hardness levels are used for the sound conduit and the part that touches the ear. The sound conduit uses a harder silicone with grooves to achieve both strength and flexibility. The part that touches the ear uses soft silicone, providing a comfortable fit and high sound insulation. By using a gray stem on one side and a red stem on the other, it's easier to distinguish between left and right even in dimly lit environments by slightly lifting the eartip to check the stem color. Furthermore, the stem colors differ for adjacent sizes (gray stems alternate between dark and light gray, red stems alternate between red and pink), making size identification easier.
