Carrying on the sharpness of the Japanese sword, with a 100-year history of saw-making. This is a foldable saw that’s easy to carry. The stopper features an auto-lock mechanism, ensuring it stays securely closed unless the button is pressed. It makes cutting work easy, allowing you to cut quickly without getting tired. It folds down compactly for storage, making it convenient for camping and other outdoor activities. Samurai Saws utilize state-of-the-art computer-controlled grinding machines to hone the sides of the blade. This reduces friction and creates a shape that smoothly discharges wood chips from the cut, significantly reducing the effort required to cut wood. Rather than being sharpened with a file, the saw teeth are formed by shaving the blade with a Borazon grinding wheel, resulting in a finish similar to that achieved by sharpening with a fine-grit blue whetstone. Consequently, it delivers a cutting edge as sharp as a knife, leaving the cut surface of green wood undamaged. The blade tip has undergone hard impulse (impact hardening), making it extremely hard and ensuring a long-lasting, comfortable cutting performance. The body is molded from hard ABS resin, and the grip is wrapped in a special rubber called elastomer that feels pleasant to the touch. This makes it very easy to hold and provides a non-slip grip. Additionally, a protrusion is located at the very end of the handle to prevent the saw from slipping out of your hand while cutting wood, even without applying pressure to the handle. By slightly curving the blade and the entire handle, there is no need to press down when pulling the saw. Simply place the blade on the wood and pull lightly—it delivers several times the cutting performance of conventional saws with half the effort.
