Along with her "partner" Setsuna Aizen, the "Tokusou" team, now comprised of four members including Shintaro Niimi and Masaomi Koketsu, will uncover the truth behind the incidents.

Investigating urban legend-themed cases from two perspectives The story progresses using the series' highly acclaimed "Science Route/Occult Route" system, where the truth of a single case is reached by investigating it from two different perspectives. Will you pursue the "Science Route" with a scientific approach, or the "Occult Route" which doesn't deny the existence of supernatural beings? Was the crime committed by a human? Or was it a supernatural entity? The interpretation is up to the player.

Enhanced Horror Effects Through Illustrated Animation The familiar cut-ins and still images from the "Shin Hayarigami" series are still present in this game. Furthermore, animated illustrations, a first for the series, are introduced, enhancing the horror effects. Experience even greater "horror" with these new effects.
