The Apple system requires an external power supply. Simply connect the positive terminal of the external power supply to the 5V pin and the negative terminal to GND. (Supports 3.3–6V power supplies.) Please note that when an external power supply is connected, the USB port cannot be used; you must choose either the USB port or the external power supply.
Entering Download Mode: Hold down the ESP32C3’s BOOT button, then press the RESET button. Release the RESET button, then release the BOOT button. The ESP32C3 will now enter download mode. (You must re-enter download mode each time you connect. Sometimes, a single press may not be sufficient, and the connection may drop due to port instability; you can determine this by listening for the port identification sound.)
Note: The ESP32 operates on a 3.3V system. If a 5V signal is accidentally connected directly to a GPIO pin, it will burn out the protection diode, causing permanent damage to the pin.
