Product Introduction
As a workhorse for the Japan Self-Defense Forces, this small, general-purpose vehicle handles a wide range of missions, from transporting personnel and equipment and delivering messages to reconnaissance and scouting.
Procurement began in 1996 to replace the outdated Type 73 light truck, and it is still in operation today under the name 1/2-ton truck.
Equipped with air conditioning and a car radio, it is an automatic transmission vehicle, making it relatively similar to a civilian car despite being part of the Self-Defense Forces.
This product reproduces the so-called "mid-production model" procured in the 2000s. It features fog lights embedded in the bumper and an air intake on the hood.
