[Content] The Eclipse is a specialty car developed by Mitsubishi in collaboration with Chrysler, with whom Mitsubishi had a partnership at the time, primarily targeting the North American market. It was manufactured in the United States and delivered to Japan as an imported car with left-hand drive. Its popularity skyrocketed when the second-generation Eclipse appeared as the protagonist's car in the first installment of "The Fast and the Furious." Hot Wheels' model is based on Brian's car, but with a completely different color scheme from the car in the movie, giving it a new appeal. The Lancer Evolution is a rally competition model that combines Mitsubishi's small sedan, the Lancer, with components from the high-performance VR-4 grade of the mid-size sedan, the Galant. Broadly speaking, four generations, or ten generations if divided into phases, were produced from 1992 to 2016. Hot Wheels has based its design on the Evolution VI, the final evolution of the second generation, whose high performance was proven when Tommi Mäkinen won the Tribers title in the WRC (World Rally Championship). Also noteworthy is the rare Canal Blue color scheme, which was not often seen on the actual car!
