■Moonshine V2

The Moonshine V2 is a pedal aimed at players looking for an overdrive that is not transparent but has a unique personality, and it is an overdrive pedal with many modifications applied to the most famous green overdrive. A versatile tone shaping tool that can be used in genres such as blues, rock, country, and jazz, as well as hardcore and metal.

Moonshine V2 has the same basic sound as version 1, but is equipped with a new “Clean” knob, making it possible to add a clean signal to the overdrive signal. By switching a simple “Proof” toggle switch, it covers everything from low gain distortion that breaks up like an amplifier to distortion sound as if the amplifier is playing at full 10.

When the switch is switched to the lower position, the high gain setting makes it possible to use saturated sound that creates a long sustain. The upper position creates a more open crunch sound, and has more headroom and volume.

The tone control works very smoothly, and the jarring high frequencies that are common when overdrive is set to bright settings don't stand out.

Similar to the JHS SuperBolt, Moonshine is internally boosted from 9V to 18V, so even if 9V power is supplied, you can actually get the headroom, low end, and punch when using 18V.
