【Important Notice for International Buyers – Tomoayax Premium Audio Hi-Fi Japan】
■ Voltage Compatibility
This product is designed exclusively for use in Japan (AC 100V, 50/60Hz).
Many regions use 120V or 220–240V.
Using this product without a proper transformer in such voltage environments may result in malfunction, overheating, or serious and irreversible damage.
■ Plug Type
This product uses a Japanese plug (Type A or B).
A plug adapter may be required depending on your region.
■ Transformer Requirement (Very Important)
A transformer is required for safe use.
A plug adapter only changes the plug shape and DOES NOT convert voltage.
Using this product without a transformer may cause serious and irreversible damage.
■ Buyer Responsibility
As this is high-end audio equipment, the buyer is fully responsible for confirming compatibility with their local voltage (100V / 120V / 220–240V) and usage environment before purchase.
■ No Return / No Refund Policy
We do NOT accept returns or refunds for:
・Voltage mismatch (including 120V and 220–240V environments)
・Use without a transformer
・Plug incompatibility
・Damage caused by improper setup or usage
■ Liability
We are not responsible for any damage, malfunction, or performance issues caused by improper use or incorrect voltage conditions.
■ Final Notice
Please ensure full understanding of the above before purchasing.
Use only under the correct voltage environment.
• High-performance, low-noise phono equalizer
- Low-cut filter that removes subsonic components
- Adjustable preamp gain
• Clip Indicator
- Switch input capacitance to match the cartridge (100pF | 200pF)
Connecting a record player and recording system while maintaining high sound quality.
This unit is a high-quality phono equalizer amplifier. It is used when connecting a record player that does not have a built-in phono equalizer to a recording system or similar.
The built-in low-noise phono equalizer circuit is highly precise and accurately follows the RIAA curve. With this unit, you can easily connect analog records to your audio workstation, sound card, monitor system, etc., while preserving their perfect sound.
Controls and Functions
A unique feature of this unit is the ability to switch the input capacitance between 100pF and 200pF to match the characteristics of the phono cartridge. Furthermore, the low-cut filter allows you to remove unwanted subsonic components from the record player without compromising sound quality. With a gain trim knob and clip indicator LED, you can optimize settings even with input sources that have a wide frequency range.
The line output jack has a low-impedance design, allowing it to connect to any sound card. The case is made of anodized aluminum, and power is supplied using the included power adapter.

Why a phono equalizer amplifier is necessary when playing analog records
1. Because it cannot reproduce low frequencies and mid-high frequencies equally, it is necessary to compensate for the low frequencies during playback.
2. Because records inherently contain a certain amount of hiss noise, post-production work is performed before pressing to boost the high-frequency gain. Therefore, the opposite equalization is necessary during playback.
3. The output signal of a phono cartridge is weak (around 5mV even for an MM type cartridge), so amplification is necessary during playback, taking into account items 1 and 2 mentioned above. In the mid-1950s, the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) established compensation standards. As a result, from this time onward, RIAA phono equalizers were incorporated into all Hi-Fi stereo amplifiers, and phono inputs were added. When connecting a record player to a mixer without a phono equalizer, a separate phono equalizer amplifier is required.
