The AWM-500 series is the first full-metal analog-digital model in the G-SHOCK lineup. This model faithfully reproduces the design of the original analog-digital combination model AW-500-1E, released in 1989, with a metal construction. It features Arabic indices for 15, 30, and 45-minute markers. The bezel, case, and band are coated with black IP, recreating the original color scheme. The band is a bracelet type with rounded links to mimic the shape of the AW-500. The case back is a screw-back design. Equipped with radio wave reception and Tough Solar power, it also offers high-brightness full auto double LED light, world time, and other practical features.
