This series features gentle colors achieved by dyeing natural merino wool with naturally derived dyes. Made with 100% merino wool fabric and finished entirely from natural materials, the theme for the Spring/Summer 2024 season is "Lost Flowers." Natural pigments are extracted from dried scraps and unsold plants left over from bouquets at flower shops. These are used as original natural dyes by icebreaker, developed in cooperation with a flower shop in Shibuya, Tokyo. The collection includes four colors: Twig (TW), a deep brown extracted from branches; Petal (PE), a soft red extracted from various shades of red petals; Stem (ST), a light green extracted from stems and calyxes; and Leaf (LF), a deep, vibrant green extracted from plant leaves. All colors have excellent colorfastness, making them resistant to fading, and like other icebreaker merino wool products, they are machine washable. The shorts feature a relaxed silhouette and a knee-length cut, and are made from a medium-weight fabric that is less prone to transparency. You can also enjoy a set with the matching T-shirt (product number: IB0A56ZG) and neck gaiter (product number: IB0A56ZF) made from the same fabric. This is a unisex item, and the smaller 2XS~S (*) is recommended for women. *Because it is an import size, it differs from Japanese size notation. As a guideline, Uni-2XS is equivalent to a Japanese women's S size. For the Spring/Summer 2025 season, based on the concept of "making use of waste," we utilized materials that would normally be discarded as dyes with the cooperation of Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Using branches from pruned cherry trees and outer leaves of purple cabbage, icebreaker uses these as its original natural dye. It has excellent colorfastness, making it resistant to fading, and like other icebreaker merino wool products, it can be machine washed at home. These shorts have a relaxed silhouette and a knee-length cut, and are made of a medium-weight fabric that is less prone to transparency. Since these are imported sizes (unisex), men's M is equivalent to S (one size down), and women's M is equivalent to XS (two sizes down).
