Summary

Collector Yui Blu-ray 1 ●Synopsis The year is 20XX. The world is connected to a single computer network known as "ComNet," allowing everything to happen in virtual space. This ComNet is controlled by a massive host computer known as "Glosser." One day, Groser begins to harbor ambitions of controlling the real world and taking control of the world. Dr. Inukai, the developer of ComNet, completes the control program "Collector" to thwart Grosser, but is immediately attacked by Grosser. Dr. Inukai disassembles Collector into eight pieces of software and releases them into ComNet. Yui Kasuga, a second-year junior high school student who struggles with computers, happens to encounter one of these software programs, "IR." IR entrusts Yui with a mission: as "Collector Yui," she embarks on a journey to collect eight software programs scattered across virtual space.

Collector Yui Blu-ray 2 ●Synopsis Thanks to the efforts of Collector Yui and the Collectors, the host computer "Grosser"'s ambitions for human domination are thwarted. Yui asks Dr. Inukai to create an improved ComCon that allows her to transform independently, but it is stolen by someone. Peace returns to ComNet, but now an unidentified virus called "Buggles" appears throughout ComNet, causing chaos. While Yui and her friends struggle against their first enemy, another Collector who calls himself "Ai" appears before them. Yui and her friends realize that Bugles occur when a "lost girl" is spotted online. Why do the Buggles appear? And what is the purpose of Collector Ai, who is pursuing them just like Yui and her friends? Yui suspects that Ai, the new girl who moved in next door, is Ai.
