The D-Sound Icarus is a distortion pedal that recreates the powerful and overwhelming sound of a Sunn amp. From overdrive that sounds like a high-headroom amp being pushed, to octave-mixed distortion and fuzz territory. Three types of clipping are available, allowing you to choose the amount of thunderous edge or distortion thickness you prefer. The left footswitch turns the booster on and off. ●Control ・Right foot switch: Switches the overdrive section on/off. ・Left foot switch: Switches the booster section ON/OFF. ・Amplitude: Adjusts the volume of the overdrive section. ・Distortion: Adjusts the intensity of the distortion in the overdrive section. ・filter: Turn clockwise to cut high frequencies and adjust the tone. ・clipping: Toggles clipping in the overdrive section. Octave: Higher settings result in stronger octave components, creating a fuzz-like tone. At minimum, it produces a clean to overdrive tone. ・magnitude: Adjusts the boost level of the booster section.
