The Honda NSX, a mid-engine sports car, debuted in 1990.
Its driver-centric design philosophy had a significant impact on sports cars worldwide.
Initially launched with a 3-liter engine, it also made headlines as a patrol car.
In 1997, a minor redesign enlarged the engine to 3.2 liters, and the Type S was added as a performance-focused model.
Compared to the standard model, it featured a body weight reduction of approximately 45 kg and suspension settings optimized for circuit driving, further enhancing its high-performance character and generating considerable buzz.
The NSX Type S is now available. This model recreates the Monza Red color that was available as a custom order option.
The rear engine hood is openable.
