Smoke like sea mist
The backflow effect sends smoke downwards, so it pours and curls rather than rising straight into the room.
Three dolphins ride the wave form, giving the falling smoke a clear path and a sense of movement.
The ocean theme suits a bathroom shelf, meditation space or evening reading corner.
As the smoke gathers lower down, the piece feels more like a moving sculpture than a simple incense holder.
The best effect comes in still air, away from open windows, fans and strong draughts.
Ceramic wave form
Made from ceramic, the burner has a sculptural dolphin and wave design with detailed curves for the smoke to travel through. Ceramic gives it a clean, finished look, but it should still be handled gently and set down on a stable surface.
How the cascade works
This burner is designed for backflow incense cones. Once lit, the cone releases smoke through a hollow centre; as it cools, the smoke becomes heavier than the surrounding air and falls through the burner in streams and swirls.
Standard incense cones or sticks will not create the same waterfall effect. Use backflow cones and place the cone carefully over the smoke channel.
Placement and care
Place it on a heat-safe, level surface with space around it. Keep it away from fabrics, shelves directly above it, pets and children while the cone is lit.
Let the burner cool fully before moving or cleaning it. Wipe away ash and residue with a dry or slightly damp cloth, then dry the ceramic before storing.
