G-SHOCK, the toughest watch ever, has been evolving in pursuit of unrelenting strength since its launch in 1983. The new G-B001M series features Mobile Link functionality and a detachable bezel. The G-B001M is an evolution of the DW-001, which debuted in 1994 based on the Capsule Tough concept. While retaining the original form and shock-resistant construction, it features a carbon core guard structure and a unique design that further protects the metal bezel case with a urethane bezel. The metal bezels, each with a different finish, and the two-tone molded urethane bezel made with skeleton material give a new impression to the original model. The G-B001MVE, featuring a yellow-based color scheme popular in 1994, comes with interchangeable bands and bezels, allowing for 12 different combinations. This time, three colors are available: the G-B001MVB with a gray skeleton and gold metal bezel; the G-B001MVA with a black base, silver metal bezel, and printed band; and the original color G-B001MVE. Equipped with Bluetooth, the watch can be connected to a smartphone using a dedicated app, and updates to the app are displayed on the watch. This G-SHOCK evolves from the original model, achieving a new level of toughness with smartphone linking, a new structure, and a new design.
