K2 LAMP DOCTOR – is a specialized, high-quality paste for restoring headlight lenses. The extremely effective abrasive formula will give a second youth to all lamps made of plastic or glass. If the headlights are cloudy, yellowed, or have pitting in the structure of the lenses, K2 LAMP DOCTOR will deal with them perfectly.. The renovation can be carried out manually or mechanically using a polishing machine. Thanks to the K2 LAMP DOCTOR headlight renovation paste, the lenses will regain their original clarity and shine, which will directly affect the improvement of their performance, road lighting, and safety. K2 LAMP DOCTOR pastes can be safely used for the renovation of other transparent elements, e.g., headlights in motorcycles, camping trailers, boats, and even airplanes. An excellent complement to the K2 LAMP DOCTOR paste is the K2 Lamp Protect headlight protective coating, which protects the lamps from dulling, yellowing, scratching, and UV rays for up to a year from the moment the coating is applied.
HOW TO USE:Machine polishing:1. It is recommended to cover the edges of adjacent surfaces with masking tape.2. Heavily damaged headlights should be sanded with 2000-3000.3 grit sandpaper before polishing.. Clean and degrease the surfaces (e.g.. with K2 Klinet cleaner or glass cleaner).4. Apply the paste to the polishing sponge (e.g.. K2 Duraflex, choose the sponge hardness according to the degree of surface damage).5. Spread the paste at low speed (Approx. 600 rpm) and then increase it to approx.. 1200 rpm. and polish to a high gloss.6. Clean the surface with a microfiber cloth.
Hand polishing:1. Clean and degrease the surface (e.g.. with K2 T6 KLINET cleaner or glass cleaner).2. Apply the paste with a sponge or microfiber and polish until the surface is shiny and smooth.3.
