Enjoy immersive, thrilling combat in this action RPG, wielding three evolving swords. This title is a PS2 port of the Windows version of "Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim," released in September 2003. It encompasses the settings of Ys I through V and follows the protagonist Adol's adventures in an unknown world.

Adol boards a pirate ship by chance, heading for a difficult spot in the Atlas Ocean in search of hidden treasure, but is thrown overboard by a hostile fleet's bombardment. Swallowed into a great whirlpool, Adol arrives on a beautiful, isolated island inhabited by the Leda tribe, who live in harmony with nature. There, he uncovers the legend of the winged people and the mystery of their great legacy.

Adol's weapons are three Emerus swords, which can be used to perform three types of attacks: thrust, spinning slash, and slash, depending on the enemy. Taking advantage of the 3D features, exhilarating action awaits, including jump slashes, dash slashes, and dash jump slashes.

Changes from the Windows version include the conversion of all animated movies to CG movies, full voice acting for the characters, new scenarios accompanying the addition of new characters, and the introduction of new dungeons, among many other new elements. (Rei from Chiba)
