This book covers Yuzuru Hanyu's journey over the two years from his professional debut in 2022 through 2024. It's packed with footage of him in ice shows and practice sessions, as well as rare behind-the-scenes shots.
All photographs are by Nao Noto, who also worked on the previous "YUZURU" series and the "Yuzuru Hanyu Large-Scale Photo Collection: Hikari - Be the Light." A native of Sendai, just like Hanyu himself, this book features a selection of images that could only have been captured by a photographer who has been following Hanyu since his childhood.
The portraits, taken in Sendai, feature natural expressions, soft smiles, and many shots that reveal his true self, exclusive to Noto.
