The OM3 is a dynamic microphone that can be used for a wide range of purposes, from live to studio. Equipped with a hypercardioid type cartridge with optimal settings to accurately pick up vocals even in an environment full of various sounds. Natural and accurate miking is achieved with a wide range of frequency characteristics from 50 Hz to 18 kHz and a VLM diaphragm. Also, since SPL is set to a maximum of 144 dB so that it can handle high sound pressure, it is less likely to be distorted and clear sound quality can be obtained. The excellent proximity effect in the low range and the specially designed midrange sound balance allow for uncompromising performance. It is a high cost performance model boasting various specifications such as sound balance, high durability, and comfortable operability. The OM3 exterior features a die-cast zinc body, black E-coat finish, steel mesh grille, and gold-plated XLR connectors.
