Synopsis
Through a field trip to Tokyo Tower, three middle school girls, Hikari, Umi, and Kaze, are suddenly enveloped in a powerful light and suddenly find themselves transported to a completely unfamiliar, parallel world. Their home, Cephiro, has become a barren wasteland overrun by monsters since Princess Emerald, a precious "pillar" of the world, was abducted by the priest Zagato. Only the legendary Magic Knight Rayearth can save Cephiro. Hikari and the other three have been summoned by Princess Emerald as her Magic Knights. In a world where magic lives and where mental strength directly translates into personal strength, Hikari and the others have risen to save Cephiro and reclaim Princess Emerald...
