High magnification zoom lens for APS-C cameras with RF mount. The APS-C sensor is automatically trimmed when mounted on a full-frame EOS R series camera. The zoom range covers everything from standard angles of 18 to 150 mm to telephoto. In-lens optical image stabilization with up to 4.5 stops of blurring correction. When combined with an EOS R series camera equipped with internal image stabilization (IBIS), image stabilization of up to 6.5 stops is possible. Dynamic IS that stabilizes during motion shooting in movie mode with a wide angle setting. The lead screw type STM enables smooth autofocus when shooting movies.

The APS-C sensor offers 100% x 100% dual-pixel CMOS AF coverage, and the full-frame sensor (crop mode) offers 80% x 80% dual-pixel CMOS AF coverage. Offering amazing performance for everyday use, the lead screw type stepper motor (STM) ensures smooth autofocus and quiet operation, and can capture video with excellent audio and minimal background noise, so it doesn't distract the subject in quiet photo environments. With the optical image stabilization function, correction of up to 4.5 stops is possible, and the adjustment IS allows up to 6.5 stops. This advanced image stabilizer lets you achieve sharper photos while keeping blur to a minimum, even in low light.
