Designer: Unikko (Poppy) was designed in 1964 after Marimekko founder Armi Ratia announced that Marimekko would never print floral patterns. Maija Isola refused to follow Armi's orders and created a series of floral prints in protest. One of these was Unikko, a story of creativity, strength, courage, and faith in oneself. Material: Soft and absorbent cotton terry. Made in Portugal. Features: The Black Torna bag is made from heavyweight cotton canvas. It has two handles, an interior pocket, and a large white Unikko printed flower on one side. The material is printed in Helsinki. Care: Follow washing temperature guidelines. Wash with like colors.
