The mats feel nice to the touch, without any smells. If they hold the pattern from contact with shoe heels, then it will be absolutely wonderful. One remark - the mats for the rear row are excellent in width, but their length covers the air vents under the seats that are directed towards the rear area.. The solution: either cut these carpets, or don't carry anyone in the back row!;)))
