I bought size 40 for my 38.5. They fit in size. The last is comfortable. The shoes are soft inside. They are not heavy in weight. The toes of the shoes got dented during transportation, after trying them on they straightened out a little, they will continue to straighten out during wear. The toes are reinforced inside (to hold their shape) as if with cardboard. There is an odor from the glue.
